Questions, answered
What do I need to use the checker?
Export product data from Shopify as CSV. Use an older export as the baseline and a newer export as the current file. Include translated fields in the exports if you want to review translations.
Are my CSV files uploaded?
No. The checker runs in your browser and does not send the selected files to LocaleDelta. It does not transmit file contents to an AI or translation provider.
What does the report mean by potentially stale?
If a source field changed but a corresponding translated field stayed the same, the report flags it for review. This is a heuristic, not a claim that the translation is wrong.
Does LocaleDelta update my Shopify store?
No. This pilot is a comparison and review tool only. It does not connect to Shopify, automatically translate content, sync changes, or roll back edits.
Is this a paid subscription?
Checkout and subscriptions are not enabled yet. The launch gate is still being completed. Do not send payment or product data to us.
Which CSV data should I use?
Use product and locale fields only. Do not include customer, order, payment, or other sensitive personal data.
