# LocaleDelta Terms of Service **Effective:** Upon publication ## Seller and acceptance These terms govern the LocaleDelta CSV-based localization change-monitoring pilot (the “Service”). The seller is **LocaleDelta**, the trading name used by Localization change monitor for Shopify stores. By ordering or using the Service, you agree on behalf of yourself or the business you represent and confirm you have authority to do so. ## Pilot scope and limitations The pilot compares customer-provided Shopify product and locale CSV exports and may prepare a report identifying text that appears new or changed, missing translations, or translations that may need review. Reports and files are aids for human review. They may contain omissions or errors and are not a certification of translation quality or completeness. You must review every change and decide whether and how to apply it. The pilot does not monitor a live storefront, connect to or change your Shopify store, publish content, guarantee translation accuracy, or provide automatic synchronization, rollback, legal advice, or a finished Shopify app. Shopify does not sponsor or endorse this Service. Do not rely on the Service for time-critical, safety-critical, or legally required content. ## Customer responsibilities and acceptable use You are responsible for lawful access to your exports, having rights and permissions to submit content, reviewing reports and translations, retaining your own backups, and complying with applicable law and Shopify terms. Send only product and locale fields needed for the report and remove unnecessary columns. Do not submit customer, order, payment-card, health, identity, authentication, sensitive personal, or confidential third-party data. Do not use the Service unlawfully, interfere with it, or submit malicious code. We may refuse or stop processing a file that creates a legal, security, or operational risk. ## Plans, renewal, limits, cancellation Planned monthly plans are Store at USD $19 for one store, up to two languages, and 50,000 translated-text characters per month; and Growth at USD $49 for one store, up to five languages, and 200,000 translated-text characters per month. Before purchase, checkout must show your plan, billing interval, limits, applicable taxes, renewal, and cancellation route. If an offer changes, the checkout shown to you controls. No automatic overage charges apply. At a limit, work may pause until the next cycle or until you accept a separately disclosed option. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. You authorize the price displayed at checkout. Cancel using the checkout cancellation route or contact the support channel used for your order; cancellation stops the next renewal, while paid access ordinarily continues to the period end. We do not prorate a partial month unless required by law. Third-party translation or vendor charges under an account or key you own are charged by that provider, not by LocaleDelta. ## Refunds The separate Refund Policy forms part of these terms. It explains the initial-charge refund window, cancellation, and exceptions. Nothing limits mandatory rights. ## Privacy, submitted content, and intellectual property The Privacy Notice explains our handling of account, billing, and submitted data. Where we process personal data for you, the Data Processing Addendum applies. Do not send personal data unless necessary and lawful. You retain rights to content you submit and grant us a limited permission to process it solely to provide, secure, and support the requested Service and comply with law. We retain rights to our service and pre-existing materials. Subject to payment, you may use reports and output files in your business. You are responsible for rights in source content and use of translations. We do not use submitted content to train general-purpose AI models. ## Availability and disclaimers The pilot may involve manual work and is provided on a limited, best-efforts basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue a feature for security, legal, operational, or maintenance reasons. To the extent permitted by law, the Service and reports are provided “as is” and “as available,” without guarantees of uninterrupted operation, error-free results, or fitness for a particular purpose. No disclaimer removes a right that cannot lawfully be excluded. ## Liability To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, revenue, goodwill, or data. To the extent permitted by law, LocaleDelta’s total liability arising from the Service in any rolling 12-month period is limited to fees you paid LocaleDelta for the Service in that period. Limits do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including applicable liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or personal injury caused by negligence. Retain your own exports and verify outputs before use. ## Ending service and disputes Either party may end the Service; subscription cancellation is described above. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to prevent harm, address misuse, or comply with law. Deletion of submitted files follows the Privacy Notice and applicable DPA. Mandatory law and consumer protections apply. These terms do not exclude a right that cannot lawfully be excluded. Contact the support route used for your order first so we can try to resolve issues. ## General and contact If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains effective. We may update terms prospectively and will communicate material updates through the Service or account contact route. For questions or requests, reply to the service or support email used for your order; the purchase page must identify the current contact route before payment.
